Do you wonder how you can become a child of God? How to enter into the family of God or how you can know for sure that you are going to heaven when you die?

These questions will be answered on this page, and you will be able to settle this matter for eternity!

How to Join God’s Family

We are going to quickly go over a few things that we need to understand to be able to join God’s family.

God is Perfect

Matthew 5:48  …even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. 

God is perfect and completely sinless. God cannot be around sin or allow sin into His family or into heaven.

We are Not Perfect

Romans 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 

We are not perfect. We have all sinned, every one of us has committed sin.

The Cost of Sin

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 

Because of sin we deserve to die and go to hell. The cost of sin is eternal separation from God BUT God has made a way for us to live with Him in heaven.

The Gift of God

Romans 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 

God’s free gift to everyone is Jesus. God gave us Jesus to save us from hell and make it so that we can join the family of God and live with God.

Jesus was perfect and became the only sacrifice we need. Jesus willingly laid down His life by dying on the cross and then rose from the dead three day later.

Jesus did this for us, because He loves us!

Believe and Ask

Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 

All you have to do to be saved, to join the family of God is to believe what Jesus did to save you and simply ask Him to save you.

Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 

What you need to do to join the family of God is to pray to God and tell Him…

1. You realize that you are a sinner and because of this sin you cannot go to heaven.
2. You believe all that Jesus did and that Jesus is all that you need to be saved.
3. Ask Jesus to save you, to be your Saviour, the Lord of your life.
