This is a short devotion about God and how He is Our Rock.

From this Episode:

Deuteronomy 32:31 – For their rock is not our Rock,

There is NO rock like OUR Rock! That’s right The God in this verse, the Israelite’s God is OUR God, He is OUR Rock! God has chosen to be our God, to be OUR Rock.

There was no reason for God to choose us, to choose to be our God, to be our Rock but He did anyways.

Why would God do that?

The answer can be found in many places in the Bible, but I want to point you to 1 John 4:10 – Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us.

God loves us, that is why God chose to be our Rock.

We could read John 3:16 – For God so loved the world or Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth his love toward us, or so many other places.

God loves us and that is WHY God chose to be our God and our Rock.

• In Exodus 17 & Numbers 20 the Rock is a symbol of Life.
• In Numbers 23 the Rock is a symbol of having a clear vision or clear sight of God.
• In Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Here God’s title Rock shows us He is unmovable, He is constant and He is forever!

No matter where you are at in your life, whether you are close to God or not… God is Choosing to be your ROCK. Claim Him today and every day! He is our eternal life and He will never leave us and He will never Change! God is our ROCK.
